What is the Florence City Tax?

Since July 2011, facilities providing accommodation in Florence are obliged to apply a tourism tax. For 5 star properties, the city tax is € 5.00 per person per night for a maximum of 7 nights in a row. Children up to twelve years old and people who care for patients admitted to local hospitals are excempted from the city tax. For more details, please contact our concierge.

What is "ZTL"?

Zona traffico limitato stands for a limited traffic zone, in which the St. Regis is situated. Only public transport and authorized cars are permitted within the dedicated zone. For detailed information if you wish to arrive with your own car, please contact our concierge.

Kindly note that early arrival and late departure requests are subject to availability and may require an additional charge. If you wish to guarantee your room availability before noon, we invite you to reserve the previous night.

What are your breakfast hours and costs?

Our Winter by Caino restaurant is open for breakfast daily from 07am to 11am.
Buffet Breakfast costs EUR 45 per person.
Continental Breakfast costs EUR 26 per person.
Light Breakfast costs EUR 15 per person.

Does your hotel have a fitness center/Spa/pool?

Our hotel is equipped with a Fitness Studio with Technogym facilities accessible 24/7 with room key and complimentary to all guests.
The St. Regis Florence has Iridium Suites Spa by Clarins. It is open from Monday to Saturday from 10am - 9pm.

Is there a coffee maker in the room?

In accordance with security and safety regulations on Old Historical Palaces, we do not provide coffee makers in the room, but you can order your favorite coffe at any time of the day from your St. Regis Butler or our Room Service. In our suites, the St. Regis Butler offers complimentary beverage service.

Are connecting rooms available?

Yes, we have connecting rooms available in select guest rooms with Arno River views and suites. Kindly note that these are subject to availibity and must be requested prior to your arrival.

Can I have an iron in the room?

Due to the Italian law on Old Historical Palaces, we cannot offer an iron in the room, however we offer pressing service from 07:30am to 09:00pm. In our suites, the St. Regis Butler offers complimentary pressing of 2 garments per day.

What does Internet costs?

The entire hotel is equipped with complimentary WIFI access complimentary to our guests.


Are pets allowed at the hotel?

The hotel is delighted to welcome pets to the property. We permit one dog (18kg/ 40lbs) per room and provide a dog bowl, bed, mat and a Pet Welcome Kit.

Does your hotel provide parking?

Hotel offers valet service at the garage close to the hotels €33 - €53 per day depending on the size of the car.

You can also park your car yourself at the cost of €28 - € 48 per day depending on the size of your car.

Do you provide adaptors or converters?

Our concierge team can provide adaptors but no converters are available. Please contact the concierge desk if you should need any.

Do you have extra beds?

Extra beds are allowed from select Premium Deluxe Rooms onwards at the rate of EUR 80 per night. Only one extra bed per room is permitted.

What is the hotel voltage?

Hotel voltage is 220 V. Please make sure to check the voltage of your equipments before usage.

Can I pay for someone else?

In an effort to reduce the risk of credit card fraud and to protect our customer's card data, The St. Regis Florence follows Payment Card Industry compliance regulations and does not receive any emails containing credit card data. To book on behalf of someone else or to pre-pay your stay, kindly fill in the third party billing and send it by fax at +39 055 2396097

Can I pay for my stay in my own currency?

Yes, your credit card must support Dynamic Currency Conversion. This service is available to Visa and Mastercard customers in USD, AUD, GBP, CAD, HKD, JPY and CHF.

Can I pay for my stay in cash?

Based on the law 2015, No. 898, approved on 22.12.2015 by the Council of Ministers, we remind you that we cannot accept payments in cash for amounts grater than or equal to EUR 3.000,00
